Her design philosophy was simple: A vessel that would stand the test of nature.
The vessel.
Modeling test prior to the vessel construction has validated that the hull design will result in very good sea keeping qualities especially during harsh weather conditions. A relatively low resistance level allowing for consistent progress under power when meeting head waves, and excellent pitch-roll and sway with seas from the sides. Drawing on decades of knowledge and experience in seafaring and engineering, the radical hull and superstructure design is poised to change the perception of what a liveaboard vessel should look like.
How much does she weigh?
At 115 feet length overall and over 400 gross ton, Mega Explorer is truly in a class of her own, compared to the rest of the liveaboards currently operating in the Southeast Asia region. Her strong and imposing styling lines resembles the oceanographic ships that sail into remote and unknown regions. With a bridge deck poised high and forward of the superstructure, she provides for a vast amount of space for the comfort of her guests. The Mega Explorer Liveaboard calls out to both the romantic and the adventurous.
How does space onboard look like?
Interior space has been designed and planned for all practical needs of divers. Large salons flanked the main and upper decks; providing various enclaves for dining, socializing and entertainment, while the flight deck and sun deck provides additional spaces for outdoor leisure activities onboard. With 11 Double Cabins, 10 Twin Cabins and 1 Suite Stateroom (all en-suite bathrooms), Mega Explorer offers spacious accommodations and creature comforts to suit every individual’s needs. Boasting a cruising range of 2000NM, with onboard self-sufficiency systems and an ocean-faring (up to Sea State 6) hull design and superstructure, she is built to go where dreams will take you.
